Fall is an opportunity for players to “play up” to the division that they will be playing in during the spring season. It’s a shorter season than Spring, and it is a skill-based season. GAMES ARE HELD ON SUNDAYS.
Special note about waivers: Player is not registered until the AVCA waiver is turned in. Player will not be permitted to participate in tryouts/evaluations unless waiver is turned in. You can mail it to:

Fall Recreation is for players who are looking to play softball in a competitive environment, while honing their skills for the upcoming spring recreational season, or are looking to transition into a new age division. Fall Recreation will run approximately 8 weeks each Sunday, beginning in September and we will have teams for girls of all age divisions including Tball (6U), 8U, 10U, 12U and 14U (depending on available coaches and interested players). There is typically 1-2 practices/week and each team plays one scheduled game against another Orange County team on Sundays.
The cost for this program is $150 per player for 8U-14U, and $70 for 6U Tball until August 1, 2018, and then rates will go up to $175 for 8U-14U and $85 for 6U.
Our 6U Fall Tball division take a clinic-approach to ensure players learn the sound basics from the beginning. There will also be scrimmages when applicable during this short season.
The Registration "Fall Ball" is not currently available.
It is the goal of Aliso Viejo Girls Softball to present scholarship assistance to players in financial need. The AVGS Board of Directors will review the scholarship requests and award the scholarships based on available funds. This project is partially funded by a grant by the City of Aliso Viejo.
Fall Select is a great environment for players to continue improving their skills in a competitive environmen. AVGS would like to field teams per age division (10U, 12U, and 14U) in the American Softball Association (ASA) sanctioned Fall Ball Federation league. This competitive softball league runs from September through November; teams may begin practicing on August 27, 2018.
Each team will play a series of doubleheader “friendlies” which are games against other teams throughout Orange County on Saturday or Sunday. There is also a tournament, depending on the age level, in November. The cost for this program is more than Rec and TBD. To be eligible to play on a Fall Select Team for Aliso Viejo, your player MUST have played for AVGS during the 2018 spring season for all divisions except 14U, or provide their ASA card from their previous All-Star team before tryouts.
